Football season

It is that time of year again.  Teams are about ready to take the field and the games are about to begin.  The teams are ready to take each other to find out if they can make it to the big game "Super Bowl 49" on the first sunday of Febuary.  The teams are set and ready for the kick-off.                                                     They are in the final preseason games where they will know what players will make to the fifty-two man rosters of each of the thirty-two teams.  Those who do not make it will probably make it another team.  Others may make it to the practice squad.  Some may make it on the team if another player decides to retire and move on with their lives.  It is going to be hard choice for the coaches on who makes it or is sent packing their stuff to move on.                                                                                                                                 Then in September, the regular season will begin to find out who will make it to the playoffs.  Playing for seventeen weeks will determine which teams will make it to the next level, the playoffs.  For the remaining twelve teams, six from the AFC and the six from the NFC, will the final two teams.  Those two teams will play for the ultimate prize, the LUMBARDI TROPHY, and to become world champions of football.                                                                                                                                                                              The games are about to begin, and the teams are ready.  The fans are ready to cheer on their favorite teams to victory.  It doesn't matter what your favorite team is, or what division they are in, the season is ready to go into full swing.  So put on your best game face on.  Get out your favorite jersey for your favorite team.  The games are ready to start, and the players are ready to take the field.  So may the best team win, what ever team wins the game.

Reading materials and places to find them.

There are so many books to read on any day of the week.  Whether it is book or a magazine, it gives you material to take in.  You can find such books in a library or in a book store.  Even  a newspaper can give you something to think about. It can be about your favorite actor or actress.  It can be about your favorite show, a new movie that is about to come out or is already out.  Even about a certain subject, like mystery or science-fiction, can be very interesting reading material.                                                                                      Libraries contain many good books.  For example, they can be about your favorite actor or actress.  Their lives from the time they are born to the present day may make interesting reading about them.  It might give you some insight for their point of view.  It also give you some material about what shows they were in or what movies they were in at the time.                                                                                                    Book stores are another good place to find to look up certain people.  Whether they were in polotics or entertainment.  It also depends on if they are in hard cover or in paper back.  Other good books may be about places you want to visit.  Whether it is a national park or another state or country, books give you insights into what might be there. They may also have pictures about the local sights around the areas to visit, when you get the chance.                                                                                                                                                  So if you like to find interesting to read, libraries and book store are a good place to go.  It may be books or magazines or newspapers.  They might be under certain catagories, like fiction or autobiographies.  So if you have the time, they may have what you are looking for.  So have fun and learn about your favorite subject.  You may learn a lot about you favorite person or show or a certain subject any day of the week.

Old and new action shows

I like classic action shows.  Then again there are newer shows that I can get hooked on  Sure the action sequences are more action packed then when the older shows were on.  But they have a style all their own.  That is why the show are always a joy to watch over and over again.                                                      One of the classic shows is "The Dukes of Hazzard".  The show is about two cousins, Bo and Luke, that fight to beat whatever plot that is devised by the man who own the county, Boss J.D. Hogg and the sheriff of the county, Rosco P. Coltrain.  The stunts are car chases and jumps over river beds.  But in the end, they all way beat the Boss and the Sheriff at their own game.                                                                                           One of the newer show that I really like is "C.S.I."  The show is about how to solve a crime that has been committed.  It has a cast of detectives who find dead bodies, find evidence that link the crime and how it was committed.  The clues may be in a casino or in a back alley.  They also find out who did the crimes and put them away at the the end of the episode.                                                                                                                 Whether you like the classics or the newer shows, they can make the evening relaxing. The plot lines may change from season to season, but the tempo remains the same.  Whether the action is in a small town or in a big town it is always anyone wanting more.  May the action shows continue to having people wanting more for years to come.

My two favorite sports.

There are many sports that happen year round.  Only two sports are considered my favorite sports of all time.  They are "Baseball" and "Football".  Though they last only a few months a year, they are considered to me fun to watch.  I only follow six of the teams in both football and baseball.  If any of them make to the playoffs, I follow intently.  If they lose in the playoffs, I don't follow them until the next season starts the following year.                                                                                                                                                Baseball usually starts the regular season in April. The season usually ends at the end of August.  Then the teams that have won their divisions, whether in the "AMERICAN" or "NATIONAL" league, they will go to the playoffs.  If it is teams like Atlanta Braves or Colorado Rockies, I will follow them with much interest until their season is over.                                                                                                                                     Football is an exciting sport.  They can be watched on Sunday, Monday, or Thursday night.  They play a sixteen week schedule.  If any of the six teams I follow like "DENVER BRONCOS" or "PITTSBURGH STEELERS" make to the playoffs, I will follow them through out the playoffs.  If any of them make it the "SUPER BOWL", it will be something interesting to watch.                                                                                   Baseball and football are exciting to watch.  They only last a few months a year.  They make the game enjoyable in the alotted time.  Whether you watch it at the stadium or at home, you can cheer them on win on any given game they play, whether they play on home field or on the road.  So may the best win.
