Cartoon favorites
There have been many cartoon shows on television for many years now. From action-adventure to humorous, cartoon shows have been a mainstay over the last fifty years or so. Some have been good verses evil. Others have been to entertain adults as well as children of all ages. Still others have been on to educate the public on various subjects like science. One of my favorites of all time is a band of superheroes called "The Superfriends". Even though the show has gone through many changes, the premise has stayed the same. The show main heroes have even stayed the same. The shows title has changed from "The Superfriends" to "Justice League". The show has heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. They have fought against villians, such as Lex Luthor, Groud the Gorilla, and Bizarro. The plot has always been to beat the heroes and to take over the world. But in the end it has always been the heroes have beaten the villians. Another of my favorites cartoons shows has been "Scooby-Doo". The show is about a group of teenagers and their famous pet dog. At first, they come across what seems to be a castle, an old boat, or a run down town. For most of the show, they will look for clues, such as foot prints or pieces of what looks like old fabric. They also discover what seems to be "Ghosts". In the end of the show, they find a way to catch the ghosts and to reveal who is behind the masks of the villians. Also they reveal the plot, like why they want to take over the town. Cartoon shows have been on for many years now. The formats of the shows have changed a lot over the years. The shows are now more computer generated then ever before. Hopefully the cartoon shows will continue to entertain adults and children alike. Even a new audience of family will enjoy the shows and the characters on the shows for years to come.

Summertime activities and vacations
As we go through this time of the year, there is many activities to go through in the summer time. Activities such as swimming, hiking, biking, and golf. Others include going on a trip to see other family members. Taking a vacation to get away from daily routines, is a good way to get refreshed. When planning for getaways, like vacations, plan ahead. What you want to take with you, like clothes, is key to make sure you have enough stuff to have with you. Having enough money with you is another factor on your trip. You may want to get souveneers to remember the time you spent on the trip. Having a camera and film is a good way to remember your trip to the destination you wanted to go and the places you saw while you were there. Going to the museum is another fun activity to enjoy during the summer months. The museum contains items like what happened in history, minerals like crystals found in underground caves. Learning about natives in other counties, is a good way to learn about what is going on in other regions on earth. Learning how they live, what homes they live in, and how they lives their lives. We all know that the vacations are short. It is always good to get away for short break. Planning an activity or a vacation, helps to refresh and get ready to return to the tasks at hand, like at home or at work. So enjoy and have fun with either the activity or vacation time. Take good pictures on the trip and enjoy the time away whatever you may be doing.

Superheroes on screen
Superheroes are big on the movie screen and the television now days. Heroes like Superman and Batman are attracting a lot of people to see what their favorite heroes are doing these days. Even those in teams are attracting big ratings on the big screen and on television. On the big screen, there has be recently "The Avengers", "Thor", and "Captain America" in the past year. This coming time of the year, movies like "Defenders of the Galaxy" and "The Amazing Spiderman 2" are ready to be released on the big screen. In the coming years, "Batman V. Superman" and "The Avengers 2" are getting ready to be released. On the small screen, there are other heroes shows. Shows like "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Arrow" has impressed audiences of all ages the past year. Coming up this fall, shows like "The Flash" and "Gothom" are ready to make their debut on the television screen. Superheroes are here to stay. Even if they are on the big screen or on the small screen, they are attracting a lot of people to see what they are doing. Whether they are known heroes or up and coming ones, the shows will still be coming out. Even as long people are still watching them, they will still continue to save the day on the big screen or on the small screen for years to come.

My favorite classic television shows
I am one of those people who likes classic television shows. Even though you can find them on certain stations, like '' TV Land '', they can also be found on DVD in certain stores. They can also be found on local channels on certain nights, like on the weekends and certain times of the day. One of the classics I really like is a show called "M*A*S*H". The show is about doctors in Korea in the 1950's during the Korean war and how they dealt with not only each other, but with patients and the local inhabitance. The show lasted from 1973 till 1984. Today, it can still be found on certain stations, including certain cable channels. Another classic show I still like to watch is the classic show "Batman". The show stared Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin. Even though the show lasted only three years, the show didn't take itself seriously. It had a special, what I call charm all its own. The show pitted Batman and Robin against villians such as The Joker, The Riddler, and Catwoman. The first two season, the show was seen two nights a week. Then in the third season, the show was seen on only on night a week. A classic that is to this day that is still a favorite of mine is "Barney Miller". The show is set in New York City. It is about a group of detectives at the 12th precinct. The detectives had to deal with certain people for seven seasons. Detectives like Wojo, a last name that was hard to spell, Harris, that seems to have fine taste in clothing, and Yemana, who is Japanese. Now days the show can be found on DVDS at certain stores. You can find these series, except "Batman", at a local video store. They are in either one season, or the complete series. May the series bring back memories and enjoyment for the family for years to come.

there have been many game shows shown over the years, but few are still are still on the on the air. Some of my favorites are The Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. On the Price is Right, people are called to ''Come on down'' to contestant row to win a certain prize. Then if the bid is lower then the actual price, they win the prize and to come on stage to play a pricing game for even another prize, like a trip or even a car or cash. After that they get to spin '' The big wheel'' for a chance to go to even bigger prizes at the end of the show. Even though ''Deal or No Deal'' is no longer on the air, the contestant could win one of 26 cases containing various amounts from one penny to one million dollars. They have to be careful because of the one who is called '' The Banker''. He wants to buy back the case for a certain amount of money. After each round, he will try again till the end of the game. Then at the end of the game, the contestant wins the amount that is in the case. the value could be any amount between one penny or one million. Jeopardy is a game of questions and answers. The answers come on the board of six different catagories, the contestant must answer it in the form of a question. They go through three rounds, and at the end of the game, the one with the most money wins the game and plays again the next day. Even though there has been many game shows on the air, shows like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right are still going on strong. May they continue to stay on the air, and keep on giving away lots of prizes and lots of money to many other lucky contestants for years to come.
