My favorite classic television shows
I am one of those people who likes classic television shows. Even though you can find them on certain stations, like '' TV Land '', they can also be found on DVD in certain stores. They can also be found on local channels on certain nights, like on the weekends and certain times of the day. One of the classics I really like is a show called "M*A*S*H". The show is about doctors in Korea in the 1950's during the Korean war and how they dealt with not only each other, but with patients and the local inhabitance. The show lasted from 1973 till 1984. Today, it can still be found on certain stations, including certain cable channels. Another classic show I still like to watch is the classic show "Batman". The show stared Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin. Even though the show lasted only three years, the show didn't take itself seriously. It had a special, what I call charm all its own. The show pitted Batman and Robin against villians such as The Joker, The Riddler, and Catwoman. The first two season, the show was seen two nights a week. Then in the third season, the show was seen on only on night a week. A classic that is to this day that is still a favorite of mine is "Barney Miller". The show is set in New York City. It is about a group of detectives at the 12th precinct. The detectives had to deal with certain people for seven seasons. Detectives like Wojo, a last name that was hard to spell, Harris, that seems to have fine taste in clothing, and Yemana, who is Japanese. Now days the show can be found on DVDS at certain stores. You can find these series, except "Batman", at a local video store. They are in either one season, or the complete series. May the series bring back memories and enjoyment for the family for years to come.
